Privacy Policy

Overview

ReadyCue is a private external memory system. Your captures belong to you. We collect the minimum needed to run the product, we do not sell your data, and we never use your thoughts to train AI models.

What we collect

• Account data: email address, and the display name you choose.
• Content you capture: thoughts you type or dictate, and the records ReadyCue creates from them (action cues, people, decisions, keepsakes, references, and related items).
• Product usage: basic technical logs (timestamps, error reports, device and browser type) used to keep the service reliable and secure.
• Billing data: handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.

How we use it

• To operate your account and sync your records across devices.
• To turn a captured thought into structured records using an AI model.
• To send transactional email such as sign-in links, receipts, and account notices.
• To diagnose bugs, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure.

AI processing

When you capture a thought, its text is sent to a language model that splits it into records. Nothing else from your account is sent with it. The model is instructed to never invent facts and never infer sensitive attributes such as health conditions, mental-health diagnoses, medication, religion, sexuality, gender identity, race, immigration status, political views, or financial status. Your content is not used to train any model.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that make ReadyCue work: hosting and database infrastructure, our AI model provider, our email delivery provider, and our payment processor. Each processes data on our instructions. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not run advertising networks inside ReadyCue.

Team spaces

Every account starts with a personal space that only you can see. Team spaces are opt-in and separate. Content captured in a personal space is never moved into a team space automatically, and role permissions decide who can read, capture, or edit inside a team space.

Retention and deletion

Deleted records are recoverable from History until you purge them, after which they are removed. You can delete your entire account at any time from Privacy & your data inside the app; this permanently removes your profile, personal workspaces, thoughts, and records. Backups and logs age out on a rolling basis.

Your rights

You can export everything as a single JSON file, correct your information, or delete your account from inside the app. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, restrict, or object to processing. Email us and we will honour those requests.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is scoped per user by row-level database policies, and administrative access is limited to what is needed to operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Children

ReadyCue is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we make a material change to this policy we will update the date above and notify account holders by email or in-app.
